    Internship

    NLC is based on the Chinese market and has close cooperation with NEC‘s Japanese and American research teams. We engage in the research of core technologies such as 5G/6G, AI, machine learning, big data, and the development of commercial application solutions.

     NLC provides practical job opportunities for college students and graduates to help them gain R&D experience in actual work. In NLC, interns will be members of the R&D team and participate in the R&D and testing of real projects. We will help students expand their knowledge and skills and also accumulate relevant experience. At the same time, we will provide interns with generous internship salaries.

    【Position】ML_Intern_01_Deep Learning (Algorithm Theory) Intern
    【Internship Period】4 ~ 6 months+
    【Attendance frequency】More than 3 days a week (5 days a week is preferred)
    【 Description of the Position 】

    1. Conduct paper research on new algorithms in deep learning/machine learning including derivation and verification of related theoretical methods.
    2. Participate in characterization/transfer learning, Bayesian learning, generative adversarial learning, reinforcement learning, search optimization, GNN and other cutting-edge topics, and conduct auxiliary verification research.

    【 Requirement of the Position 】

    1. Doctoral students, masters, and outstanding undergraduates major in machine learning, computational mathematics and other related majors
    2. Have a solid mathematical foundation and a strong interest in the theoretical research of ML/DL algorithms.
    3. Familiar with deep learning theoretical knowledge. And relevant research experience in computational vision, NLP, and speech is preferred.
    4. Proficiency in using at least one DL framework (tensorflow, pytorch, caffe, etc.)
    5. Those with top conference or journal publication experience are preferred.

    【Position】ML_Intern_02_Computational Vision (Medical) Intern

    【 Description of the Position 】

    1. Read English papers including experimental verification and quantitative evaluation of new models and algorithms for computational vision.
    2. Data reprocessing, modeling and visual analysis of computational vision in the medical and security fields.

    【 Requirement of the Position 】

    1. Strong background knowledge of image processing, computational vision, etc.
    2. Practical project experience in target detection, segmentation, generative model or 3D reconstruction modeling, etc. Project experience in medical image processing is preferred.
    3. Familiar with mainstream machine learning frameworks (tensorflow, pytorch, caffe, etc.) and toolkits.
    4. Strong coding ability, able to use Python or C++ more proficiently. And those with Github code is preferred.

    【 Description of the Position 】

    1. Text extraction and semantic analysis of medical electronic medical records.
    2. Research on text mining algorithms and semantic association of text and images.

    【 Requirement of the Position 】

    1. Familiar with common word segmentation algorithms, semantic analysis, feature extraction, text classification and prediction, and text clustering algorithms.
    2. Familiar with Chinese word segmentation tools: ICTCLAS, LTP, THULAC, etc..
    3. Familiar with commonly used OCR tools: OCRmyPDF, pdfminer, etc..
    4. Experience in electronic medical records related processing and algorithm development projects is preferred.
    5. Strong coding ability, able to use Python or Java more proficiently. And those with Github code is preferred.
